Dabster Productions

The Tours are all produced by Dabster Productions, a Scottish radio production company.

Dabster has an impressive history of radio shows and podcasts for clients such as the BBC, the Guardian, 5Live and the Gathering amongst many others. Being Edinburgh based, this tour has been a real labour of love for them.

Eric Melvin

Your tour guide is the Edinburgh historian Eric Melvin.

Eric has written several Scottish history books over the years and has also worked as a teacher in Edinburgh Secondary Schools. Eric has lectured for many years on aspects of the History of Edinburgh. He is also an official tour guide of the Royal Mile.

Eric is very passionate about the tour, having researched and written the stops himself.

Amanda Millen

Radio Presenter Amanda also features on the tour, giving directions and citing additional points of interest throughout.

Amanda has worked on various high profile projects including BBC Radio Scotland's The Music Bed.
